Back After a Break

It's been some time since I last visited this site to express my views. I guess the last time was because I was extremely annoyed and agitated with the world. Well almost a year has gone by and I have still not found faith in this world. There are more wars and skirmishes raging on, more killings, rapes, robberies, kidnappings. Zimbabwe has been sitting in the doldrums for some time now. There was a glimmer of hope some time back, but now it's static. I suppose it could be worse and we could be heading for stormy waters, although the signs are there. Our captain is only interested in one thing. Collect and plunder as much treasure as possible, regardless if the ship is heading for the rocks. What is needed is a change of direction, a new crew and a change of captain. There is no talk of mutiny, never has been. All we are waiting for is for the captain to hang up his hat and retire to some deserted island somewhere to live out his life. Alas that will not happen either. The only way he will get off the ship is by severing the mortal ties that bind him to this world. So I guess it is in God's hands.
And there I have no faith in either.
